Trindon has been waking up from his naps with the craziest hair. I'm not sure what he's doing in his crib to cause this, but it's funny. I didn't do anything to his hair after getting him up, but of course I combed it after I took a picture!!

Christmas
Santa made it to the Baker house this year! The kids actually slept in a little later than normal on Christmas morning, we'll enjoy that while we can. Santa brought a little table and chair set for Leah and Trindon. He also brought a baking set that has been a huge hit with both kids, that is when Leah lets Trindon touch it. At the bottom of this picture you can kind of see Trindon's Radio Flyer push wagon.
Santa brought Leah a princess bike, so she can quit stalking the neighbor girl, and a Tangled baby just like she asked for. She also got a Tinkerbell watch (another thing she asked for after a meltdown in JCPenney when she couldn't have it right then), some Princess slippers that she has since started calling her ballet shoes, and some color wonder markers.
This picture of the wagon wasn't taken on Christmas morning, but for some reason I failed to get a picture of him with it then. It's a walker wagon, so he can push it and practice walking behind it.
Trindon got a stuffed elephant for his crib that is the same brand as Leah's giraffee, maybe he will quit coveting her giraffee now. Kids wanting other kids toys seems to be a common thing around here. He also got a farm, a cell phone, some trucks, and a Radio Flyer walker wagon.
Leah and Trindon exchanged gifts this year. Trindon got Leah a Cars Aquadoodle. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Aquadoodle it's a special cloth mat with a pen that you fill with water. The water writes on the mat in red but doesn't make a mess. It's very cool and Mommy even enjoys playing with it. Leah picked out a ball popper for Trindon. When he was opening it she said "that came from Walmart." Now she says that she got it from Santa.

Thank you to the grandparents for Cars 2, a tool workbench, new clothes, and a new cuddly blanket for each of them. Thank you to Uncle Bob for the Zoo Talkers Little People Zoo, a picnic basket, and a chef set. The kids got so many gifts I couldn't take post pictures of everything! We are very grateful for our wonderful family and friends and their generosity. The kids love all of their stuff and Mommy is happy we have some new stuff to keep them entertained through the winter.
We have been enjoying having Daddy around a little more this week. We made a family trip to Costco on Tuesday and have had a chance to get caught up on some chores around the house. We are looking forward to spending New Year's Eve with the Robinson family. Leah can't wait to see her cousins!

Just an update
There's not too much going on with us. Just getting ready for Christmas like the rest of you. We have been baking and making some candy. I made homemade cinnamon rolls about a week ago and Leah loved them. She didn't want to share with Phil because he ate his without frosting. She is definitely a girl after my own heart, she asks for "more frosting". The next weekend I made baked french toast and she thought she needed to have frosting on that too!
I finally broke down and bought a little potty. I was dead set against this and really wanted to train Leah on the regular potty, but she will have nothing to do with it. Last week she started pretending to potty in the play pot from her kitchen, which was slightly alarming and very disgusting so I decided we had to try something else. She loves her princess potty and wants to use it all the time she just hasn't actually done anything on it. She got a giant marshmallow for sitting on it without her diaper on. She won't get another marshmallow until she does "something" on it.
Check out our new Youtube videos. They are still uploading as I'm typing this, but this is the link to one of them http://youtu.be/_jIer7wdorY. There will be two, so look for the two newest ones. Trindon is displaying his impatience with me while I'm feeding him and he is having a blast playing in the princess ball pit. Enjoy!

Trindon has his own blanket, which he loves, but for some reason he's very drawn to Leah's pink blanket. He was cuddling with Phil on the couch and kept laying his head on Phil's chest and sucking his thumb.
Just a cute picture of Leah wearing her hat. She loves finding fun stuff to wear. I remember loving to play dress up too.
Trindon is on his feet all the time these days. He's so stinkin cute!! How bout those big blue eyes:)

Visiting with the Geers
Nick and Mira were in Plano for the weekend for a birthday party, they invited us to come spend the day with them on Sunday. We picked them up and had lunch at Rudy's, one of Nick's favorite Dallas area BBQ joints. Rudy's was delicious!! Then we headed to the mall for some shopping. Leah is usually a terror anytime we try to take her shopping, but she had Mira to entertain her so she did really well. Mira loves to take pictures and Leah loves to look at pictures of herself so they were a good match.
On Monday I asked Leah if she wanted to look at pictures of her and Mira. She said "and Nick too". We had a great day with the Geers we really miss them and hope to see them again soon! I think we'll have to make a trip to Arizona sometime soon.

Christmas Photos
I took the kids to a photographer to get some Christmas pictures taken. Leah is in a very disagreeable phase and Trindon is just constantly on the move, so I didn't have high hopes for how they would turn out. She at least got a decent one of them together and a couple cute ones of each of them individually. Leah is Miss Silly all the time, but for some reason gets super serious every time we try to do professional pictures. I think from now on I will save the money and just take pictures myself!
