Christmas

Santa made it to the Baker house this year! The kids actually slept in a little later than normal on Christmas morning, we'll enjoy that while we can. Santa brought a little table and chair set for Leah and Trindon. He also brought a baking set that has been a huge hit with both kids, that is when Leah lets Trindon touch it. At the bottom of this picture you can kind of see Trindon's Radio Flyer push wagon.

Santa brought Leah a princess bike, so she can quit stalking the neighbor girl, and a Tangled baby just like she asked for. She also got a Tinkerbell watch (another thing she asked for after a meltdown in JCPenney when she couldn't have it right then), some Princess slippers that she has since started calling her ballet shoes, and some color wonder markers.

Trindon got a stuffed elephant for his crib that is the same brand as Leah's giraffee, maybe he will quit coveting her giraffee now. Kids wanting other kids toys seems to be a common thing around here. He also got a farm, a cell phone, some trucks, and a Radio Flyer walker wagon.

This picture of the wagon wasn't taken on Christmas morning, but for some reason I failed to get a picture of him with it then. It's a walker wagon, so he can push it and practice walking behind it.

Leah and Trindon exchanged gifts this year. Trindon got Leah a Cars Aquadoodle. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Aquadoodle it's a special cloth mat with a pen that you fill with water. The water writes on the mat in red but doesn't make a mess. It's very cool and Mommy even enjoys playing with it. Leah picked out a ball popper for Trindon. When he was opening it she said "that came from Walmart." Now she says that she got it from Santa.

Thank you to the grandparents for Cars 2, a tool workbench, new clothes, and a new cuddly blanket for each of them. Thank you to Uncle Bob for the Zoo Talkers Little People Zoo, a picnic basket, and a chef set. The kids got so many gifts I couldn't take post pictures of everything! We are very grateful for our wonderful family and friends and their generosity. The kids love all of their stuff and Mommy is happy we have some new stuff to keep them entertained through the winter.

We have been enjoying having Daddy around a little more this week. We made a family trip to Costco on Tuesday and have had a chance to get caught up on some chores around the house. We are looking forward to spending New Year's Eve with the Robinson family. Leah can't wait to see her cousins!
