It's been a little while...

Not too much blog worthy news from the Baker Family, but I thought I would post a few new pics and give an update.

Leah has started calling Trindon "Bubby". It's cute and it stuck so if you hear us refer to Bubby you know who were talking about. Bubby can't walk yet, but he can climb. He likes to climb the stairs (with a spotter) and he really loves to climb these steps and then try to pull himself up into Leah's bed. I finally decided I had to put them away after he fell off.

We call Bubby our little "techy" because he goes after all the electronics. The DVD player has to be turned sideways because he knows how to turn it on and open it. At least with it sideways he can only access the power button. If Leah is watching a movie he likes to turn it on and off and listen to hear squeal "My movie! My movie!". He's also been known to get a few choice words out of his daddy when he turned the computer off during a video game. Good for you Bubby!

The other night we were all upstairs watching a movie on the DVD player and Trindon grabbed the remote for Direct TV. Since we weren't using the Direct TV box at the time neither Phil or I thought to take it away from him immediately. He played with it for a second and then moved on to something else. It wasn't until later after the kids had gone to bed that we realized he had cancelled the shows we were trying to record on the DVR, and had instead recorded a show of his own. This is the funny part.....he recorded "The Worlds Strongest Man Competition". That's our muscle man!

Leah was practicing her balancing in this picture. She loves to play rough and wild with Daddy!

She keeps asking if we can go stay in a hotel. Our little traveler is feeling couped up I guess. I told her we would go to Dallas for Trindon's birthday and stay in a hotel. She talks about it no less than twice a day. We were reading a book a couple of weeks ago that talked about an animal having a tail. She told me "I don't have a tail I have a bum." Her favorite thing to do these days is go to Cherry Berry, which is the new frozen yogurt place here in Durant. We go at least once a week and she refers to it as her "favorite place".
